Dental Gold might be considered an odd item to sell – but it is precious metal none the less and contains value. Typically Dental grade gold is a 16k gold alloy – but not in all cases. Normally in our store we can estimate karat by using the acid test. But if we cannot, we can have the piece x-ray’d and then determine the precious metal content. In fact, in some rare cases, the metal could be platinum, or palladium, all of which can have some considerable value. Make sure you get any you might have checked out!
